We collaborate with leading environmental researchers worldwide

Macroclimate® — together with colleagues at Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment (IonE) and the climate data division of Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS-Ethix) — will present a collaborative research paper on the state-of-the-art in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) data at a Yale University Symposium in September 2017. The paper is entitled Geofinancial Engineering Initiative: Using Real Time Environmental Data from Satellites to Move Financial Markets and Improve Climate Outcomes. Stay tuned.

Minnesota’s world-renowned Institute on the Environment (IonE) serves as a research collaborator and source of scientific input to Macroclimate®. IonE’s mission is to discover solutions to Earth’s most pressing environmental problems by conducting transformative research, developing the next generation of global leaders and building world-changing partnerships. Mark Kriss, Macroclimate’s Managing Partner, is Chair of IonE’s External Advisory Board.

Vision Prize® is a research partnership that captures scientific meta-knowledge on climate risks and solutions, in collaboration with the UK’s Institute of Physics (IOP Publishing) and researchers at Carnegie Mellon University. A three-year study of the expert opinions of 340 climate scientists worldwide was completed in December 2014. See Research Findings.
